Priligy is a revolutionary medicine specially designed to eliminate premature ejaculation in men. The drug belongs to a group of substances called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSSRi), which are commonly used in medical practice for the treatment of depressive disorders.
For several reasons, Priligy did not experience success as a medicine for depression but subsequently managed to obtain an equally important purpose: the treatment of premature ejaculation, in which it is still the first and only agent of its class.
Priligy has high efficacy and safety, which has been confirmed in studies involving more than 6,000 patients aged to 18 years to 64 years from 32 countries. In trials, the drug was effective in 92% of men and showed a four-fold average increase in duration before ejaculation as compared with placebo.

The effectiveness of Priligy does not appear to depend on the age of the patient. However, Priligy should not be taken by anyone over 64 years or under 18 years of age.
